  2. Hey Mark, I’m the dude that contacted you months ago regarding to a bit in Elk Grove with our band. It just didn’t seem to materialize and I’m sorry. I work for the fire department in Elk Grove and recently one of our brothers was diagnosed with cancer. After chemo he lost his hair. It’s tradition that the department rally behind that person and we all shave our domes. We get pledges and make money for a cause. We are holding the “shaving” event at one of our fire stations on Oct 22 at 9 am. The media has been asked to participate. I like to do things a little bit different – take some chances. What do you think about the idea of doing a 15-20 bit of stand up at this event? The general public will be invited and we expect a large turnout. There will be a small 20″ elevated stage and a P.A. system. Laughter is the best medicine and I’m sure you can pull it off. We can talk about content but having you come out in full firefighting gear including air tank and mask on your face would certainly be an attention grabber. Just a thought. What do you think and what would you charge?
